Insurance & Reimbursement

We're a Cash-Pay Practice

Kirkland Newborn Medicine does not bill insurance directly. Payment is due at the time of service. This model allows us to spend more time with you and eliminates the hassles of insurance pre-authorizations and claim denials.

Superbills for Reimbursement

After your appointment, we provide a detailed "superbill"—an itemized medical receipt with all the codes your insurance company needs. You can submit this to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

Typical Reimbursement Rates

Many PPO plans reimburse 50-80% of out-of-network costs after you meet your deductible. HMO plans typically do not provide out-of-network reimbursement.
